Statistics
There are no ventilators here,
But there are many beds.
Doctors and nurses
adjust and readjust their masks
out of habit.
Panic inhabits each heartbeat,
will symptoms visit?
Two weeks morph into two years,
And we, the quarantined
morph into statistics.
